You have a contract with us for the suplly of energy under variable rates. We would like to inform you that your rates will be lowered as of July 1 2023.
Normally, the variable rates change on January 1 and July 1. In extreme circumstances, these rates may change more often. Because market prices have been falling for some time, the rates will go down further as of 1 July.
Keep in mind that the changes only concern the delivery and feed-in tariff rates. The other costs, such as government levies and grid management costs, will remain the same.
Adjustment of feed-in rates
Do you have solar panels and do you generate more electricity per year than you can consume yourself? Then keep in mind that the net feed-in rates are linked to the electricity rates. Because the electricity rates are reduced, the net feed-in rates are also reduced.
The installment amount is not automatically adjusted. If you would like this to happen, you can easily adjust this yourself via Mijn Nieuwe Energie.
Submit meter readings
Does your home have a smart meter which can be read remotely by us? In this case we will automatically read out the meter readings as of 1 July 2023. You won’t have to do anything for this.
Does your home have a conventinal meter or a smart meter which cannot be read remotely by us? In this case we would like to receive your meter readings for electricity and/or gas on or around July 1 via an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, thereby mentioning that these are your meter readings concerning the change of your variable rates.
If you have any questions regarding the information above, please let us know by sending an e-mail to email@example.com or by calling us on 0222 – 760044.
Thank you for joining our collective,
